Pursuant to Government Code section 30061, subdivision (b)(4)(C), and Welfare and Institutions Code section 1961, subdivision (c), on or before October 1 of each year, every county is required to submit to the BSCC a report on the county’s use of funding from the Juvenile Justice Crime Prevention Act (JJCPA) and the Youthful Offender Block Grant (YOBG). These reports are required to be submitted in a consolidated format that includes descriptions of the programs and activities supported by JJCPA and/or YOBG funds, countywide juvenile justice trend data, and an accounting of all expenditures that occurred during the fiscal year. Unless otherwise noted, the data contained in these reports are pulled from each county’s Juvenile Court Probation Statistical System (JCPSS) Report as provided by the California Department of Justice for the applicable year.
